forest bathing * wild medicine * earthing
July 17, 1300-1600. Near Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Join me for a deep reset and afternoon of reconnection. Take some time out from your busy schedule for three hours of gentle walking, wild medicine plant identification, rejuvenating barefoot moments and nervous system regulating wooded bliss.
Our location has wildflower meadows, shady woods and sweeping views over the Gloucestershire countryside. This will be a whole afternoon dedicated to tuning in to what your body has to say about how you are doing. It is so easy to overlook the subtle messaging that is constantly coming in from our nervous systems, where and how we hold tension, and our energy levels. This will be a master class in how to tune back in, with your bare feet, the forest, meadow and wild medicine plants, as our wonderful and generous guides.
You will stand and walk barefoot, as free radicals are neutralised and your nervous system relaxes.
You will search for wild medicine plants and discover how they may be gathered and used for common ailments. Foraging for wild medicines is a practice that helps reconnect us to the land beneath our feet and helps us feel a sense of familiarity and belonging, among wild plants.
As you enter the forest, your senses will guide, leading you to drop into your body and out of your busy and over-stimulated mind.
Leave our afternoon reset feeling relaxed, refreshed, in a positive state of mind, and ready for the weekend.
Come back to the wildness within through these simple practices. Feel throughout your body as you experience a long deep uncoiling of tension, negativity, worries.

I have been engaged in an active enquiry into personal rewilding since my early 20's, when a passion for travel took me to wild open spaces, high mountains, deep thick jungles and vast starry skies - all of which sparked a memory of something wilder and more familiar than the life I was living. After decades of exploration into, and practice of, wild medicine, earthing and forest bathing, among many other processes, I held my first personal rewilding apprenticeship in 2016. I have been hosting, apprenticeships, weekend retreats and shorter taster sessions encouraging personal rewilding ever since.
