Hidden in plain sight ~ until you have met. Then you notice Mugwort everywhere. A way finder, lighting the path, accompanying your journey; be that along hedgerows, country lanes, the central reservation of the motorway, or the energetic work you came here to do, Mugwort is there.
One of the nine sacred herbs, gifted to the ancient peoples by Woden, the god of healing. A sacred plant to the druids. A plant of these lands.
Known as a dreaming herb and a powerful medicine plant for the physical body. But let's not fill our heads with what we think we know about this wise and ancient plant. By feasting together, we are inviting Mugwort to teach us directly, to tell us about themselves. There is no relationship more powerful than one based on first hand knowledge, and this is where unique and beautiful personal medicine and life-long connections open up...
A plant feast is a celebration, an indulgence, an immersion. A plant feast is a period of focussed attention on a specific plant with a specific intention. A plant feast is an incredible opportunity to get to know a plant in a way that a shorter immersion, no matter how intense, finds hard to touch.
Feasting has become my favourite way of making a deep connection with a plant being, of learning directly from them, of feeling them throughout my being, of knowing what I need to gift in return for the wisdom I am offered. Feasting is a fabulous way of making deep and enduring connections with our plant kin.
A feast itself, is a really simple process that requires just a little of your time each day, for a 28 day moon cycle. We begin close to new moon and for the entire lunation give presence and attention to the plant. In return for your efforts you will receive a deeper knowing of Mugwort the plant and the being, and most likely you will gain insights into yourself too - this seems to be one of the generous gifts of our plant kin.
We will meet online, in community, once each week to dive deeper with Mugwort, exploring them through guided meditation and deep presence. This will also be our time to share within community, to reflect and bounce along with each other and our individual learnings.
I cannot tell you in advance how Mugwort will touch you, the treasures, medicine and magic they will reveal. This is entirely your journey of discovery, and to fill in with any "facts" about who Mugwort is and what they are "good for", the "soul medicine" you will receive, would be to steal the opportunity from you to meet Mugwort first hand and discover for yourself.

In total there are 6 Zoom calls included in the feast cycle, each lasting for an hour and a half. Aim to be present for each call.
At the conclusion of each call a new file will become available on the feast portal, where you will find suggestions and recommendations for the coming week. There will be 4 of these file drops in total.
The bonus call, two weeks after the feast conclusion, is there to help you navigate your ongoing integration with Mugwort wisdom. This can be really useful and prevent the feast from being just another experience that is shortly forgotten, but one that keeps on feeding your soul and your relationship with Mugwort into the future.
On registration, you will receive a file with preparation notes for the feast.
In addition there is an optional Signal group that you can join. This is a space for further Mugwort related shares, outside of our time together on Zoom.

Of course it is absolutely impossible to predict exactly where this will go; you have never been the you that you are today, as I have never been exactly who I am in this moment before either. Which means that Mugwort too, has never been the being we see, and feel, in this moment, ever before. A unique set of circumstances makes for a rich and sumptuous feast.
There are a few practical things however that I can promise:

a toolkit of techniques for making direct 2-way communications with plants
a Mugwort identification guide
a listing of cautions & contraindications for internal use (don't worry you can still feast without consuming Mugwort)
some suggestions for activities to prepare yourself for the feast, including dietary guidelines
We will learn directly from Mugwort using plant preparations, time sitting in-person with the plant, and various different plant meditation techniques. As we receive, so we shall give, as we work in response and reciprocity with Mugwort.
Working as a community our knowing of Mugwort deepens, as we share the learnings of the week between us. I cannot explain with words how valuable working in community with a plant in this way is, but I know from experience how much more deeply into the consciousness of the plant I am able to dip, when I have fellow humans by my side, all deeply engaged in learning directly from the plant.
I have been offering plant feasts to my inner circle of students since February 2022. We have met with many plants and mushrooms along the way, fine tuning the practice into something quite magical. This is the first time that I have offered a feasting cycle to people who have not previously studied with me.

You've got questions. We've got answers.
I will not and can not tell you that. If you are told what a plant will do for you and you trust that, it will do that thing no matter what. The placebo effect. Just trust in knowing nothing. Come with no expectations. Then you will be clean and open, ready to receive anything that Mugwort chooses to share uniquely with you...
No experience necessary! Come as you are. Whether you have been undertaking deep plant work for decades, or whether this is your first time, we all have something to learn in every moment.
I believe in deep and intimate work with our plant-kin. This can only happen in very small, held groups, that are also intimate by their nature. This ensures space for each person to be heard and witnessed. For these reasons the maximum group size is 10.
Good question. As this work is so intimate, this will really depend on the nature of the group. Those present will be asked if they mind a recording, if even one says no then I will not record. If I do record, it will remain available to you for just one week.
But do not worry, the file drop that happens after the call will give you all you need for the following week.
